Fields of Competence
Appropriate waste handling is becoming more and more important in order to comply with environmental and climate goals and to protect our environment. We handle waste issues, mostly in the context of biological waste. We are well updated about the best available technology, and ensure that waste as a resource is used optimally.
For a long time, biogas has been BioMil's main focus and know-how. Still today, many of our assignments are dealing with questions connected to biogas production in one or another way. We are working with the whole value creation chain within the biogas field, from substrate issues with preconditioning via fermentation technology and emission handling to the usage of the products: biogas (gas upgrading etc) and bio-fertiliser (spreading and conditioning).
We at BioMil are concerned about our environment. And we want to help you to do the same thing. We work with most of the environmental issues within and beyond the biogas field, e.g. formal requirements such as environmental auditing and reports, and application and permit handling. We can help you with energy balances, develop climate strategies, do different environmental studies and are experts in environmental and sustainable certification. If needed, you may also hire an environmental coordinator from uss.
permit handling issues:
Comply with applicable laws
BioMil has successfully handled permit issues for a long time. We can help you to navigate through applicable rules and laws by inventories of legal demands, and by compiling environmental reports. We can also do recurring inspections and help you carry out own controls in an efficient and correct way.
Sludge and bio-fertiliser
In many biogas projects, far too much focus can be found on the fermentation and gas usage, while questions regarding the other product - bio-fertiliser - get behindhand. We can help you with the marketing of your valuable bio-fertiliser, e.g. by certification or conditioning. This way, together we can close the loop, so the nutrients get back to where they came from - the field!
